Ian Duffy - Chairman

Ian Duffy is the Managing Partner of FGS and was instrumental in the creation of the ECM offer. Possessing a strong entrepreneurial background, Ian's key focus is to drive a culture of innovation and customer service. He has significant international experience, having worked extensively in Europe and the US.

Prior to joining FGS, Ian held a senior role at Anglo Irish Bank, where he was involved in initiating and leading operational improvement projects, one of which involved replacing the company's core banking system.

Ian was also Chief Operations Officer of Vision Consulting Ltd, an international consulting firm whose business in Ireland and the UK grew significantly under Ian's leadership. He has significant experience in the SME sector, having created and developed a number of businesses over the years, both locally and nationally. Ian also held advisory roles in Accenture and IBI Corporate Finance.

Bernie Cullinan - CEO

Bernie is a creative and energetic leader and has been involved in the software sector for a number of years in both executive and non executive director roles. Prior to this, Bernie was CEO of SteelTrace, an Irish company which was very successfully sold to Compuware Corporation in Detroit. Prior to SteelTrace, Bernie was COO of Performix Technologies for five years. Performix Technologies domain is people performance management, a closely allied domain to Clarigen.

Bernie is currently a non executive director of Supplierforce, an Irish company providing procurement and supplier management solutions and is the immediate past Chairman of the Irish Software Association, the representative body of the technology sector in Ireland.

In addition, Bernie has had many challenging roles driving business turnaround and then growth within organisations with difficulty meeting their goals and objectives here in Ireland, the UK and Australia.

Bernie has a BComm from UCD, an MBA from UCD and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Sinead Creane - Executive Director

Sinead is an experienced professional with considerable expertise in strategic and operational HR Management. For the two years prior to joining FGS, Sinead had established a successful consulting business which delivered innovative and integrated HR solutions to both public and private sector organisations. Some of her successes include: development of competency frameworks, performance management and reward systems and a large number of strategic and operational HR reviews.

Prior to her consulting career, she worked with companies such as MCI Worldcom, Kindle Banking systems and Performix Technologies in a variety of HR and organisational development roles. In each organisation she worked closely with managers and employees to develop, integrate and implement HR processes and systems.

Sinéad holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree and achieved a 1st Class honours in the Master of Business Studies (Strategic HR) programme from Dublin City University. She is a chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development.

Michael Keenan - Non Executive Director

Michael is a partner in FGS, and together with Ian Duffy, he represents the FGS partnership on the Board of Clarigen. A Chartered Accountant with over 20 year's relevant experience, he acts as a business and financial adviser to clients in the SME sector, focusing on profitability, financial management, strategy (with a particular interest in HR) and wealth management . Michael heads the provision of business services including payroll to clients. His experience in start-up businesses has included a senior executive role in a 40 person software development company.
