How to get here:
By train
Longford is on the Dublin/Sligo line, with numerous trains daily. Journey takes approximately 1.5 hours from Dublin (Connolly), or 1.25 hours from Sligo. View timetables
Our offices are about three minutes by taxi from the station. Or on foot (about 10 minutes), go by Earl Street, Ballymahon Street, Main Street, Bridge Street, Church Street.
Driving from Dublin (M4 / N4)
Approx driving time: 70 minutes
- Take the N4 Lucan Road, continue onto the M4 (signposted Sligo).
- Go through the Toll Plaza, continue onto the N4 until Longford.
- On approach to Longford Town, take the 2nd exit (signposted for Sligo) at the first roundabout
- Continue straight through the second roundabout
- At the third roundabout (Homebase), take the first exit to the left
- Pass McDonalds on your right
- Continue straight down Battery Road (R198) for 1.1km
From Sligo (N4)
Approx driving time: 60 minutes
- On approach to Longford town, take the 3rd exit at the first roundabout (Homebase)
- Pass McDonalds on your right
- Continue straight down Battery Road (R198) for 1.1km
From Westport (N5)
- When you arrive into Longford Town, turn left at the traffic lights (at the Longford Arms Hotel).
- Continue straight for 500m through Main Street, Bridge Street and finally arriving at Church Street (just after passing by the cinema on your left).
From Belfast (N4)
Approximate driving time: 3 hours
Recommended route: Belfast, Enniskillen, Ballinamore, Mohill, Longford:
- On the N4 approach to Longford town, take the 3rd exit (signposted for Town Centre) at the first roundabout (Homebase)
- Pass McDonalds on your right
- Continue straight down Battery Road (R198) for 1.1km.
