
Peet van Jaarsveld
Chairman
Peet is Chairman of Clarigen and is the CFO of the Digicall Group. He is a graduate of University of South Africa and qualified as an accountant.
Peet has significant international experience which includes establishing the offshore offices for a Nasdaq listed company in Barbados. As Site director for an International medical device manufacturing facility, he set-up and led the first medical device manufacturing facility in South Africa. Most recently he was based in Ireland as Project leader to establish one of Abbott Laboratories’ international diagnostic manufacturing facilities. He returned to South Africa in 2007 to take up the position of CFO with Digicall.

Bernie Cullinan
CEO
Bernie is a creative and energetic leader and has been involved in the software sector for a number of years in both executive and non executive director roles.
Prior to this, Bernie was CEO of SteelTrace, an Irish company which was very successfully sold to Compuware Corporation in Detroit. Prior to SteelTrace, Bernie was COO of Performix Technologies for five years. Performix Technologies product focused on people performance management, a closely allied domain to Clarigen.
Bernie is currently Chairman of TunePresto, which provides an online music creation tool, and is on the Board of Science Foundation Ireland. Bernie was a past Chairman of the Irish Software Association, the representative body of the technology sector in Ireland and a former ROI President of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
In addition, Bernie has had many challenging roles driving business turnaround and then growth within organisations with difficulty meeting their goals and objectives in Ireland, the UK and Australia.
Bernie has a BComm from UCD, an MBA from UCD and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Willem de Clercq
Non Executive Director
Willem is the CEO of Digicall, a leading BPO service provider to a number of the largest banks, financial services and other consumer focused organisations in South Africa.
Willem is a graduate of Stellenbosch University is a chartered accountant. Previously Willem was the CFO of a publicly quoted company before his appointment as CEO of Digicall.

Michael Keenan
Non Executive Director
Michael is a partner in RSM Farrell Grant Sparks and together with Ian Duffy represents RSM Farrell Grant Sparks on the Board of Clarigen.
A Chartered Accountant with over 20 year’s relevant experience, he acts as a business and financial adviser to clients in the SME sector, focusing on profitability, financial management, strategy (with a particular interest in HR) and wealth management . Michael heads the provision of business services including payroll to clients. His experience in start-up businesses has included a senior executive role in a 40 person software development company.
Michael is a graduate of University College Galway. He trained with KPMG Dublin and was one of the founding partners in 1984 of chartered accountants, Lyons Keenan Kilemade. He became a partner in FGS in September 2006.

Ian Duffy
Non Executive Director
Ian Duffy is a partner with RSM Farrell Grant Sparks.
Ian has been involved in a number of significant restructuring projects requiring a change in strategies, additional management and renegotiation of financial and operating contracts. He has a specialist interest in the cleantech and renewable energy sector. He and his team provide advisory services, including funding and project management, to a number of companies in the cleantech and alternative energy sectors both locally and internationally.
Ian studied at Trinity College, Dublin, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Maths & Engineering and completed further studies at the Irish Management Institute in Applied Finance. He is a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland and The Mediators Institute of Ireland. He also holds advisory positions to a number of international companies in the cleantech, alternative energy and technology sectors and serves on the boards of a number of start-up companies.
